Hi, I’m Erin. Welcome to Erin Sage Photography. I believe photography is about so much more than capturing a perfectly posed image. It’s about preserving the feeling of a moment—the laughter, connection, joy, and little details that make your story uniquely yours. My goal is to create photographs that not only remind you what life looked like but also help you remember how it felt. With a fresh, vibrant, and honest approach, my sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of life. Whether we’re celebrating your wedding day, documenting your growing family, or capturing a special season of life, I focus on bringing out the very best in you so that the images we create together feel authentic and meaningful. I want you to look back at your photographs years from now and be instantly transported back to that moment in time.
I’ve been sharing my art throughout the Lowcountry since 2009, photographing weddings, maternity sessions, families, and life’s many milestones. Long before I became a professional photographer, I was telling stories through a camera. In high school, you could often find me spending my lunch period in the darkroom, developing film and printing my latest projects. That passion for photography and storytelling has stayed with me ever since. After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I spent five years working in the television industry. Journalism taught me to look for genuine moments, meaningful details, and the stories unfolding all around us—skills that continue to shape my photography today. Eventually, I followed my first love and turned my focus fully to photography, combining my background as a storyteller with my passion for creating beautiful, lasting images. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, Matt—my college sweetheart—and our three wonderful children. They keep life busy, joyful, and full of adventure, and they continually remind me how quickly the seasons of life pass.
